AMATECA: Handbooks of Catholic Theology

AMATECA is an international series of Handbooks of Catholic Theology, initiated by Eugenio Correcco and Christoph Schonborn. To date, it comprises 22 volumes in 10 languages. As representatives of university theology and members of the Church, the authors strive to maintain a proper balance in the treatment of controversial subjects in light of the belief of the Church and its magisterium. The foundations of the series, guaranteeing the theological identity of the individual volumes, are to be found in the theologies of Hans Urs von Balthasar and Henri de Lubac.

Members of the AMATECA Editorial Board:

Cardinal Christoph Schonborn (Archbishop of Vienna, President), Libero Gerosa (General Secretary), Guy Bedouelle, Michael Kunzler, Angelo Scola, Antonio Sicari
